UACCM Pageant Competition

Update: Unfortunately, the UACCM Pageant scheduled for December 18 is cancelled and may be rescheduled for a 2022 date. If you registered and paid the fee, the fee will be refunded to you. We appreciate your interest in the pageant and will notify all registrants when the pageant is rescheduled.

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton SkillsUSA chapter will host the fourteenth-annual UACCM Pageant Saturday, December 18, 2021from 10 am to 5 pm in the Fine Arts Auditorium. The UACCM pageant is open to current UACCM students and seven other categories for girls between the ages of birth and 18 years. Contestants may compete in the prettiest smile, prettiest eyes, prettiest hair, and most photogenic categories. Those competing for the title of Ms. UACCM will be judged on beauty, professionalism, speech presentation, and interview skills.

Ages

Girls Birth-3 Years Old (One outfit is needed.)

All girls in age groups 0-3 will enter the stage for a group line up, and then each contestant will enter on stage with one adult and move to center of stage and continue to the other points. At this time, the contestant should smile, be cute, and show personality. Each contestant will be judged on beauty, overall appearance, and personality. The dress may be holiday, flower girl, or Sunday best.

Girls 4-12 Years Old (One outfit is needed.)

All girls in age groups 4-12 will enter the stage for a group line up, and then each contestant will enter on stage one at a time. Each contestant will model, turn in the center of the stage, and continue to other points. Each contestant will be judged on beauty, overall appearance, and personality. The dress may be short or long holiday, flower girl, or Sunday best.

Girls 13-18 Years Old (One outfit is needed.)

All girls in age groups 13-18 will enter the stage for a group line up, and then each contestant will enter on stage one at a time. Each contestant will model, turn in the center of the stage, and continue to other points. Each contestant will be judged on beauty, overall appearance, and personality. The dress may be evening wear, party, holiday, flower girl, or Sunday best. Note: Contestants will not be interviewed.

Ms. UACCM Contestants (Two outfits are needed.)

Each contestant in Ms. UACCM will compete in Rounds One and Two. The top five contestants will compete in Round Three.

Round One—Evening Gown Competition. First, the contestants will enter the stage for a group line up, and then each contestant will enter on stage one at a time. Each contestant will model, turn in the center of the stage, and continue to other points.

Round Two—Professional Attire Competition. The contestants will come on stage for a group line up, and then each contestant will enter on stage one at a time to model her professional suit or dress. After this round, the top five contestants from Rounds One and Two will be named for Round Three.

Round Three—Interview Competition (top 5 only). The top five contestants will come on stage as a group wearing their professional attire. Each contestant will be asked an interview question from the judges. Each contestant will be judged on beauty, professionalism, knowledge of interview topic, and speech presentation.

After the top five contestants have completed the interview portion of the competition, all contestants will enter the stage as a group in their evening gown for the crowning of Ms. UACCM.

Note:

  • Pageant schedule could change due to the number of contestants.
  • Contestants need to arrive at least one hour before their scheduled competition time.
  • Remember, all contestants must register and pay before 4 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2021.
  • The Fine Arts Auditorium will be open 5-8 pm on Friday, December 17, 2021, for contestants to practice if they wish.
