Student Homeless Youth Documentation

You didn’t report information about your parents because you indicated that you are an unaccompanied youth and homeless, or an unaccompanied youth at risk of homelessness. Because of this, you are required to submit certain documents to the Financial Aid Office. If you stated on the FAFSA that you fall under one of the categories listed below, please submit the documents needed to the Financial Aid Office in order for a determination to be made. If the documents submitted do not prove you were eligible for that circumstance, you will be required to correct the question on the FAFSA and in most cases enter parent(s) information on the FASFA. Please talk to the Financial Aid staff if you feel you should not enter parent(s) information on the FAFSA or submit a Student Dependency Override Form to the Financial Aid Office.
