Advising/Registration

Welcome to UACCM Advising! In Advising, we are committed to encouraging and guiding students toward their educational and career goals. All new/readmit students will meet with an academic advisor in the Student Success Center to create an academic plan and register for first semester classes.

Registration dates for fall and summer semesters are posted beginning in March with registration beginning late March/early April. Spring semester dates are posted beginning in October with registration beginning late October/early November. Students are always welcome to meet with an academic advisor prior to a registration period to discuss major and degree requirements.

During a registration period, advising appointments can be scheduled online through Appointment Plus. Students can also schedule an appointment by visiting the Student Success Center or by calling 501-208-5307. Students have the option to attend an advising appointment in person, by phone, or virtually using an online service (link provided by advisor.) During any special "walk-in/call-in" registration dates, students can call or drop by the Student Success Center without making an appointment.

Tips and Resources for Academic Advising

It is always best if you have an idea of your planned major. Tip: view UACCM's degree plans before your appointment.

If you plan to transfer to a 4-year college or university, it is helpful to know the major and course requirements for your major there. Tip: Use the Arkansas Course Transfer System to check transferability of courses.

Students are placed in classes their first semester based on ACT, ACCUPLACER, and COMPASS scores. Visit the Course Placement Scores page to see where you place.

To view the class schedule prior to advising, you can access the schedule here. Most classes are offered on a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule or on a Tuesday and Thursday schedule. We also offer online, hybrid, and evening classes.
