Career Pathways is dedicated to helping our students become employable.  We ensure that our students have the soft skills necessary to be great employees, in addition to learning job-specific skills by attaining a Certificate of Proficiency, Technical Certificate, or Associate degree from UACCM.
Activities found on the following web sites are required for a student to earn an Employability Certificate. Click on the link to log in, if you are a student working toward an Employability Certificate. (Log in information must be obtained from the CSSF for Career Pathways; further information on each component is available through our brochure, available from the Career Pathways office.)


Skillport provides students with training on how to use computers, including Windows & Microsoft Office.


KUDER offers a range of helpful information.  Beginning with personality inventories, students will learn what type of work might best suit them.  In addition, students can research professions, as well as create an online résumé.


Key Train ensures that students have the basic skills in Mathematics, Reading for Information, and Locating Information.  Students must score a 4 or higher on each pre-test.

AR JobLink

AR JobLink, part of the Department of Workforce Services, offers job listings that can be found nowhere else.  It also offers students tips and ideas on how to attract employers.

Soft Skills Training

Soft skills training of up to 11 hours is required for every student; these are part of the Key Train site, and cover a range of topics, including:

  • Work habits
  • Business etiquette
  • Workplace effectiveness
  • Communication
  • Job search

Typing Test

Typing test, with a score of at least 20 NWAM is required for Employability Certificate completion.  This test is given through UACCM Testing Services.
Please remember that completing your Employability Certificate is the first step in being eligible for funded services through Career Pathways.
