 he 2007 annual Night of Luminaries was held Thursday, November 29 at UACCM. The event featured approximately 1,700 candle-lit paper bags decorated by area children illuminating the drive through campus, cookies, hot cocoa and cider, gifts for children, and Santa and his helpers.
During the event, approximately 125 gift bags were distributed to children, and total attendance was estimated between 300 and 400. Special thanks go to Arkansas Valley Wholesale for their generous donation of the paper bags and Haynes Home Center for the donation of the sand. McDonald’s of Morrilton also provided free fry coupons for children, and Hobby Lobby of Collierville, Tennessee donated the candles for the luminaries. UACCM employees donated and served the refreshments to guests. |
