2008 Back-To-School Bahamas bash Slideshow

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton extends thanks to everyone who participated in the 2008 Bahamas Daze week September 2 through 5. The activities throughout the week are designed to give students a warm welcome and help them start the school year with a positive attitude.

The college sponsors the annual event for students and employees. During the Back-to-School Bash on Wednesday, September 3, the College served approximately 900 Petit Jean Hot Dogs, over 500 cookies and chips, and approximately 700 soft drinks.

Will Gunselman of Harrison provided live music for the day, and area businesses provided fun activities and giveaways for students in attendance.

Many of the student organizations on campus set up information tables for students wanting to learn more about campus activities at UACCM. Congratulations to Dustin Taylor who won the limbo contest Torren Henry, who was runner-up. Dustin received an mp3 player and Torren received a Wal Mart gift card.

We hope everyone enjoyed the event, and we extend thanks to the following:
