UACCM will super-score the ACT, ACCUPLACER, or COMPASS for the purpose of scholarship determination. ACT, ACCUPLACER, Classic, ACCUPLACER Next Generation, or COMPASS test scores must be less than 5 years old and achieved prior to the first day of class of the semester the scholarship is to be awarded. Scholarship awards are contingent on the availability of appropriate funding and are not guaranteed. The College reserves the right to limit scholarship awards.

American Welding Society Scholarship

Arkansas Department of Workforce Services

Workforce offers a variety of services such as the dislocated worker taskforce, unemployment insurance, temporary assistance for needy families, and educational assistance for certain programs through the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA). Arkansas National Guard Tuition Assistance

The Arkansas National Guard Tuition Assistance Program (NGTA) is available for all current National Guard Soldiers that are Arkansas residents, have completed basic training, do not already hold a bachelor or higher degree, enroll in an undergraduate degree program at an Arkansas public institution of higher education, and are not currently flagged for serious misconduct (such as AWOL, ASAP, etc.). Eligible students must also be considered in “good standing” at their institution, complete the FAFSA and YOUniversal (through ADHE website) applications, and apply online through the Arkansas National Guard Education Services Office to very eligibility. NGTA pays for tuition only and does not cover fees, books, etc.

UACCM will waive up to 25 percent of the tuition costs for students that do not receiving 100 percent funding through the NGTA program. The NGTA program can cover up to 100 percent of the tuition costs for eligible students.

Career Pathways

Career Pathways is a grant-funded economic development program designed to meet the educational, financial, and employment needs of low-income parents. Students must enroll in an approved UACCM technical or professional degree or workforce training program.

Conway County School Counts! Book Scholarship

Students with 95% attendance level in grades 9 - 12: The School Counts! Scholarship is a $250 book scholarship available for graduates of a Conway County high school who meet the School Counts! criteria to attend UACCM and are receiving over $1,500 in other aid. Students not receiving over $1,500 in other aid may receive up to a $1,500 tuition/fee scholarship instead of the $250 book scholarship.

Students with 90% attendance level in grades 9 - 12: The School Counts! Scholarship is a $250 book scholarship available for graduates of a Conway County high school who meet the School Counts! criteria to attend UACCM and are receiving over $1,000 in other aid. Students not receiving over $1,000 in other aid may receive up to a $1,000 tuition/fee scholarship instead of the $250 book scholarship.

Renewal: The tuition/fee scholarship may be renewable for up to three consecutive semesters if the student maintains a 2.50 semester and cumulative grade point average or higher and successfully completes at least 12 hours each semester, a total of at least 27 hours after the first year, and 42 hours after the third semester. Students must enroll in at least 12 hours to be awarded this scholarship

Students must enroll full-time to receive the scholarship. (The tuition/fee scholarship and book scholarship cannot be combined.) This scholarship may be expanded depending on the availability of funds. Contact the UACCM Financial Aid Office for details.

EMT Trauma Scholarship

A limited number of scholarships may be available for students pursuing Emergency Medical Technician certification. Contact the UACCM Financial Aid Office for details.

Fayetteville Shale Scholarship Fund (FSSF) Angler's Scholarship

The FSSF Angler’s Scholarship is awarded to each of the two participants of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winning youth angler teams competing in the FSSF annual fishing tournament. Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $1,000 per semester and are renewable for up to three consecutive semesters. Recipients must enroll at UACCM within 12 months following high school graduation. Notify the UACCM Financial Aid office of your award

Pageant Scholarship

  • $1,000 tuition waiver for the winner
  • $500 tuition waiver for the first-runner up

A student can only be awarded this scholarship one time. The winning student should provide the UACCM Financial Aid Office with evidence of winning or being first-runner up at an approved event. Organizations interested in getting their event approved should contact the Vice Chancellor of Student Services.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is an honor society for two-year college students. Members of UACCM’s PTK may obtain a scholarship application by contacting one of the PTK sponsors.

Rees Scholarship Foundation (HVACR)

The Clifford H. "Ted" Rees, Jr. Scholarship Foundation was established to assist with the recruitment and competency of future heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) technicians by awarding scholarships to qualified students who are enrolled in an institutionally accredited school.

Single Parent Scholarship Fund

Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund scholarships are made to be flexible! They give you discretionary money to use as you see fit – to pay for simple things that create the biggest barriers between you and your education. Scholarship can be used for childcare, gas, car repairs, rent and utilities.

Veterans Affairs (VA Benefits)

Educational benefits are available under the GI Bill for eligible servicemen and women, veterans, spouses, and dependents. Veterans may be eligible for vocational rehabilitation if they suffered a service-connected disability in active service, and if the VA determines that they need vocational rehabilitation to overcome the disability. Veterans who entered the military on or after July 1, 1977, may receive benefits under the contributory plan. Complete details should be obtained from a VA counselor. Generally, survivor’s benefits and disability benefits are available to survivors of deceased veterans, spouses, spouses of living veterans, and children between the ages of 18 and 26 years when death or permanent and total disability has occurred. Sponsored by WELSCO to honor Mr. Stephen E. Harrison, 3rd generation owner of WELSCO, this scholarship is for a full-time student pursuing a degree in Welding Technology.

Scholarships for UACCM Students Transferring to a Four-Year University

Academic All-Stars Scholarship Program

Each spring, the Vice Chancellor for Student Services notifies eligible UACCM students regarding the application process

  • Returning Student
  • Must have completed at least 24 college-level credit hours at the end of the spring semester
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.25
  • $500 tuition waiver at UACCM for the following fall
  • Recognized at a special ACC All-Star event, where they will be offered full-tuition scholarships to most of the state’s public four-year universities

Arkansas Transfer Achievement Scholarship (University of Arkansas at Fayetteville)

UACCM graduates who meet the following criteria can transfer to the University of Arkansas to complete a bachelor’s degree and continue to pay UACCM tuition rate

  • Arkansas resident
  • Earn an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Arts in Teaching degree
  • Requires degree conferment the regular term (excluding summer) immediately preceding transfer to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville
  • Cumulative 2.0 grade point average
  • Meet all other U of A admission criteria and program requirements
  • Enroll in an on-campus undergraduate degree program, full or part-time
  • Renewable for up to 10 semesters with maintenance of good academic standing (2.00 cumulative GPA after each semester) or the first bachelor’s degree (whichever comes first)

Arkansas Tech Presidential Honors Transfer Scholarship

This scholarship allows UACCM to name one student each fall and spring for a transfer scholarship that pays $3,000 a semester renewable up to five semesters or completion of an undergraduate degree, whichever comes first.  Students must have completed 12 or more for-credit hours with a 3.00 cumulative GPA.  Preference will be given to students graduating with an associate’s degree.

Bear Partner Scholarship (University of Central Arkansas)

The Bear Partner Scholarship will be awarded to one UACCM student annually, and will cover tuition and mandatory fees up to 15 hours per semester, for a maximum of four consecutive Fall/Spring semesters or through completion of a bachelor’s degree, whichever occurs first. Henderson State Presidents Transfer Scholarship

One (1) $6000 per year (up to two (2) years) scholarship for a UACCM student transferring to Henderson for the fall semester. Student must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative transfer GPA from UACCM; scholarship is renewable for up to two (2) years, and renewal of the scholarship is contingent on the recipient completing 30 credit hours by the end of the first academic year and maintaining a 3.00 cumulative GPA while attending Henderson State University.

Transfer Scholarships (Recipient Selected by Transfer Institution)

Most four-year universities offer transfer scholarships to UACCM students who maintain a good grade point average. These scholarships range from a specific monetary value to full tuition. Check with the institution you are planning to transfer to after UACCM to see what transfer scholarships are available

UALR College of Business Transfer Scholarship

Two (2) $1000 scholarships for UACCM students transferring to UALR for the Fall semester. Scholarships will be awarded for two (2) semesters at $500 each semester. Student must complete an Associate of Science in Business degree from UACCM prior to August of the current year; must be admitted to the UALR College Of Business for Fall; must have completed Math 1302 College Algebra and REHT 1312 (ENG 1023 Composition II at UACCM) or equivalent with grades of C or better; must have a minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA (criteria subject to change)
