
Arkansas Career Pathways is a program that allows UACCM to offer qualifying individuals free career training and college classes. Career Pathways may be able to help you overcome the barriers that have
kept you from getting the training and education you need to succeed in today's world.

Eligibility
To be a Career Pathways student, you must:
- Have a child under the age of 21 living in the home
- Receive a service from DHS or fall below 250% of the poverty limit
- Submit a complete application packet with all eligibility documentation
- Declare a major in identified high wage high demand field
- Have employment as your immediate goal upon receiving certificate or degree from UACCM
2010/2011 Deadlines for Prospective CP Students
Prospective students must attend an Informational Session prior to being selected to participate in our program.
For Summer/ Fall 2011
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1, 2011
Last day to submit 2011/2012 Application. Pathways students must reapply each fiscal year. All eligibility documentation expires after one fiscal year. All students must also submit updated eligibility documentation (FASFA, TAXES, BIRTH CERTIFICATES, DRIVERS LICENCE, and DHS VERIFICATION) to receive funded services. Student will not receive funded services if this requirement is not met.
2010/2011 Deadlines for Current CP Students
AFTER the Employability Certificate is completed the student is considered eligible for funded services. These students must adhere to the following deadlines and requirements below for continued services.
Failure to adhere to these policies may result in temporary suspension or permanent loss of funded services.

Application
Applications are taken on a first- come, first-served basis.
Note: Students must also complete the UACCM admissions process for enrollment into the college and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for Pell Grant determination.

CP Student Requirement
Mandatory Meeting
All students approved for funded services will be required to attend a Mandatory Meeting annually (date TBA). This meeting is held prior to the beginning of the fall semester. Failure to attend this meeting will result in a loss of funded services.
Documented Study Time
All students must provide 3 hours of documented study time in a campus approved lab or study area each week. Other arrangements can be made to document study time if necessary.
Employability Workshop
All students must attend at least one Employability Workshop or Student Activity each semester (date TBA).
Early Warning Program
Student must meet with Curriculum Coordinator once per month. This meeting may last 5 minutes – 1 hour depending on your needs.
Campus Email
All students must check campus email twice per week.
Return Borrowed Supplies
If you have any equipment that was loaned out to you in previous semesters such as a calculator tape recorder, etc. Please return these items to the CP office by the last day of finals week
Return Borrowed Books
Your books must be returned by the designated book return day (date TBA). Failure to return books or books returned damaged may result in a charge to your student account.
Professional Behavior
Be respectful of staff members at all times remembering that Career Pathways is a privilege and not an entitlement.
