The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official voice of the students. It is a means by which students can become more involved in UACCM and more involved in their own education. The SGA represents the interests of all students while promoting and assisting other UACCM clubs, groups, and organizations, as well as local charitable fundraising efforts. SGA also sponsors various student activities on campus throughout the year.
How do I get involved?
If you are enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours, have an overall GPA of 2.5 or better, and can attend one meeting each month, just fill out an application and deliver it to one of the SGA advisors.
The Purpose of the uACCM SGA
To represent the interest of all UACCM students
To develop and coordinate campus-wide, student-life activities
To promote fellowship and socialization among students and community involvement through charitable events
To provide opportunities for leadership & service
To provide an avenue for active communication between the student body and the faculty, staff, and administration of UACCM
In addition to these events, SGA participates in other annual events including the Bahamas Day/Back-to-School Bash, Relay for Life, and Night of Luminaries.
