ACCM operates two adult education centers, one in Morrilton and one in Bigelow. These programs are designed to help people improve their skills in English, Math, & Reading. The centers provide GED instruction, basic skills refresher courses for students about to enter college and training for people who need to develop their basic skills for the workplace.

You can earn your high school diploma now.
Every year the GED program helps open the door to a better future for thousands of Arkansans. Regardless of the reason you didn’t get your high school diploma, you can begin today on the path to a more capable you. Diplomas are awarded based on five tests, which includes general knowledge and thinking skills. Life experiences and acquired skills are just as important as facts, figures and definitions in passing the GED tests.

Today’s Arkansas employers are hiring and promoting employees who can read, write, compute, solve problems, and communicate well. Arkansas career readiness certificates are designed to provide that proof for potential employers.
Beyond Your GED
Students who complete their GED may receive a tuition waiver scholarship for a 3-hour college class at UACCM. This scholarship provides a great chance to continue your educational journey into higher education. Also, students who score in the top ten percent state-wide on their GED test are eligible for a full tuition scholarship to UACCM, which is renewable for up to 4 semesters. The scholarships must be utilized within a year of the student’s GED test date.
