The Plaza is the college's on-campus dining service option which is located on the west end of campus. The Plaza offers continental breakfast items and plate lunches and is available for private special events outside normal operating hours.
Praxis I
The Praxis I exam is required for licensure in the state of Arkansas in any area of teacher education.
Pre-registration
Registration for the next semester’s courses that is scheduled at the end of the current semester is referred to as pre-registration. Pre-registering allows students the opportunity to register for classes early and obtain their primary choice of courses. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, so the earlier a student registers, the more likely he or she will be placed in the desired course.
Pre-requisites
Steps that must be completed before enrolling in a particular course are pre-requisites. These may include achieving certain placement scores (for example, a score of 19 on the math section of the ACT is required to enroll in College Algebra) or by completing a particular course (such as passing Composition I with a “C” or better before enrolling in Composition II). Prerequisites may be found in the course descriptions section of the college catalog.
Priority Deadline
The date after which the Financial Aid Office will begin awarding scholarships for the upcoming semester (April 1 for the fall semester) is referred to as the priority deadline. Applications received by this deadline will receive preference in selection for available scholarships. Applications received after this deadline will be considered if no suitable applications were submitted prior to the deadline.
Prospective Students
A person who is considering attending UACCM is considered a prospective student.
