The UACCM Board of Visitors was initially the College Board of Trustees appointed by the Governor of Arkansas in late 1991. The Board of Visitors provides advice, oversight, and coordination primarily in the areas of operating budgets, student tuition levels and fees, and the use of local tax monies. Although the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees is the ultimate governing authority, credence is given to the Board of Visitors in its role as representative of the service area of UACCM.
