Prerequisite: BUS 1213 Computer Applications, BUS 1051 File Management or its predecessor BUS 1022 Windows or consent of the instructor. Offered on demand. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a computer-based data processing tool used to manage and analyze spatial information. This course introduces the student to the tools and techniques of GIS, including hands-on experience using GIS software. The course will combine lecture, tutorials, discussions, and a project.
