The Certificate of Proficiency in dietary management follows the curriculum prescribed by the Dietary Managers Association. The Certificate of Proficiency in early childhood development provides coursework for students desiring to pursue the CDA-credential. The Certificate of Proficiency in Emergency Medical Technician prepares students to take the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician Examination. Certificates of Proficiency in Computer Information Systems Technology are offered in the areas of computer maintenance and networking technology. The Nursing Assisting Certificate of Proficiency is an approved training program that meets state and federal requirements and prepares graduates to provide caregiving in long-term care facilities, home health agencies, and hospitals assisting dependent elderly, home care clients, and hospital patients. Certificates of Proficiency in welding are offered in the areas of structural welding and pipe welding. A Certificate of Proficiency is also offered in petroleum technology.
